Our Mission "The Humane Society of Wellington, Kansas advocates the welfare and responsible care of animals, protects them from neglect and cruelty, and promotes humane awareness and compassion for all creatures great or small. We will do this through humane education, spay and neuter assistance, and finding responsible homes for unwanted animals.

To promote and assist with the spaying or neutering of stray and
companion animals.
To find responsible homes for stray, unclaimed and unwanted animals.
To start planning for an animal shelter of the future.
To educate the community we serve about responsible pet ownership
and the importance of spaying and neutering companion animals.
To break the cycle of animal abuse, help people better understand the
needs of animals, and promote the enforcement of our state and
local animal cruelty laws.
To provide education in the community schools.
To establish an active membership and promote public awareness of
animal issues.
To increase our fostering capability with more foster homes for animals
awaiting adoption.
Our Humane Society is an all volunteer, non-profit organization which is
dedicated to helping the animals of our area. We will do this through
spay/neuter programs, humane education, and animal adoptions. We will work
on behalf of animals with the City and in the Wellington area. Our goals are...
